Small gestures

This project named ‘Small gestures’ reflects moments, objects and feelings within healthcare.

The illustrations are built from simple, organic base shapes, each held in a single, warm tone. The colour palette leans into soft orange and pink, creating a calm, warm and gentle atmosphere.

On top of these base forms, we add detail with a simple dark line. The interaction between shape and line transforms into new motifs; people, objects, and moments. All expressed in a minimal yet expressive way.

This project was about capturing small, health-related gestures with warmth and personality. The hand-drawn line gives life to the characters and objects, making even the tiniest moments feel relatable and human. It’s about noticing the beauty in the tiny things, and giving those moments a visual voice.

This project was originally created at Manyone, but after the client tossed it, I gave it new life, colour and a few other objects.
